Bio: Elena Zolotariov is currently studying English Literature and Drama/Theatre studies at Aberystwyth University in Aberystwyth, Wales. She has been writing since the age of 14, mostly stories and diary entries that she hopes are never seen by anyone. In High School she attended a handful Model United Nations conferences as well as debating clubs, hoping that she will gain eloquence of speech as well as confidence. At the age of 15 she exposed herself in Theatre with Frank Wedekind's Spring Awakening and ever since she has been involved with Drama; she has participated in plays such as Romeo & Juliet, Medea, Antigone and the Blood Wedding as the Bride. Her fascinations involve the ideal and the impossibilities of the world. Her favourite authors are Oscar Wilde, Jane Austen, Charles Dickens and Gustave Flaubert. Despite the fact that she does like poetry, she hardly attempts to write any herself, dedicating herself mostly in writing mediocre prose, hoping that perhaps, yes, one day she will improve.
